Sir Abdul Salam

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” — Melody Beattie

It took me two days to gather courage to send this letter to my mentor, first I was summing all the great moments then start to write although some paragraph can never be enough to show how thankful I am to him. It is a small effort which remind me to keep all those people with my life no matter how successful I became.

What ever I write to him a small portion shared below.

Dear Sir,

I Touqeer Iqbal your former student from Eastern Public School is now became an Electrical Engineer from the same university in which you graduated. It all became possible because of your excellent teaching methods and calm attitude which deeply impacted my personality the way you approach to a problem and finds it solution is the part your attitude I want to implant in myself.

I remember the day as it was yesterday when I came to take advise from you about persuading my graduation in electrical engineering or take admission in BSC and starts to prepare for CSS exams, you don’t have any idea about how confused I was or may be you do. The guidelines you give that day to me help to clear my head and continue graduation.

Another advice from you which I keep with myself for the rest of my life you said, “you can agree or disagree with someone ideology but never get obsessed with anyone because it will destroy your sense of observation”. I discussed it here because this piece of advice helped me a lot during my graduation when I make this advice as my attitude It provides me respect among my other class fellows more than I can imagine.

I can’t thank enough Allah to have you as my teacher and guide may Allah bless you with all happiness and respect this letter is just a small gesture of respect, nothing in this world can pay back for what you have done.

Yours Obedient,

TOUQEER IQBAL
