During my Amal journey I have learned so many different attitudes, perspectives, and techniques like pomodoro, daily to-do list, Priority matrix and so on. The part which affects me the most is our mock interview session. Luckily, I got the chance to attend two interview sessions one from Mr. Shafiq and second from Mr. Haseeb.

“When it came to interviews, I am very good at it”

That was my mindset because of some bad experiences. I found recruiter as enemy of candidates confidence at mock interview day, I was so nervous and tense that I skipped my breakfast just to practice for this meeting however, when my interview starts luckily interviewer was an Engineer and we both has bachelor in same discipline and he was so humble, calm that all my doubts were just vanished, he ask me some very good questions, question for which I have prepared but due to nervousness I messed it all but as I mentioned he was a humble person he completely understands and gave me some very valuable tips most importantly he told me that there are some points I performed exceptionally. This compliment from his boost my confidence sky high and I am truly grateful to Mr. Shafiq for his valuable time and suggestion.

Right after the first interview I was instructed to attend another interview. This time interviewer was Mr. Haseeb. One of the most straight and to the point person I have ever met at the same time he was humble but ruthlessly honest and I was impressed by this. After two weeks, I received his feedback and in the conclusion section he was asked did he hire me or not and guess what he agreed. Specifically, that moment affects me the most, I start to think that someone from the recruiter level agrees, which means not all recruiters are enemies after all.

From now on I will be more confident and prepared for my interview and I make sure to overcome all those weaknesses which are pointed out by both of my interviewers
